As some of you know, I'm hopefully going to buy the .93 H/VS1 asscher on the DBL site within the next week or two.  I originally planned on setting it in the Antique WG Solitaire setting while saving to upgrade to a halo setting.  However, after looking at all of the beautiful rings on this forum, and reading posts, I'm thinking now about the Lucida with side diamonds...what do you all think?  Or, if you have other suggestions, please let me know.  Thanks.

I have the lucida with side diamonds on my K cushion and LOVE it!!!  I will post a picture for you.  I think that it is so simple and elegant.  If it were me I would go for that one hands down!!!!

Oh yes. Lucida with diamonds! I have a 1.05 Asscher in the WG Antique style, and would love to have it in the Lucida mounting or in a split shank. Whatever you decide, I am sure it's going to be awesome. David do have the best diamonds you could ever wish for!  icon_thumleft

That would be so beautiful and classic! I have a .91 asscher that is prong set and I have to say, I'm a tad dissapointed that the prongs hide the cut corners. Maybe double prongs (or claw prongs-I'm not sure what they are called) wouldn't do that?? That's something I would ask David..

Hi Kati,  I think that's a great choice!  The Lucida type style is great on it's own, but this version with the diamonds on the shank just take it to a whole new level. I bet it will be awesome!!

That setting can't be done with the double claws by the way. Although most of us are double claw fans.

I think it would be a nice setting, the diamond studded lucida.

Yes!!  I have that setting for my ering, and I'm a big fan.  It ended up being better than I expected.  I don't think the pictures on the website do it justice.

I'll attach a couple of my ring.

I would suggest the famous diamond Lucida setting (Annie/kk's) or a split shank.

WOW!!! Thanks for all the feedback and the PICS...OMG, I'm in heaven on this forum!! All of your rings are so gorgeous!!! I'm such a diamond addict!    I like the idea of double claw, unfortunately, it can't be done on the lucida setting.  I also like the idea of the split shank!!! I do agree with AZSPARKLE, whatever it is, David will make it look gorgeous!!

This one is plain and it's simple but it's very pretty with an asscher. I like how it's slightly wider at the top and then narrows to the back of the shank.
