Unfortunately, I own a point and shoot camera for dummies. The nearest I can get for a close-up is four feet; so I don't think I'll ever have really good shots of my jewelry.  That pink sapphire is very bright, full of life and highly saturated, almost a hot pink; but of course, none of that really shows. Sad
