1) Is the 18K closed under the center stone?
2) Please, a handshot when you have time.  Kiss

Gosh, it is so lonely out here in cyberland today. Where is everyone? I think I see tumbleweeds...  Whistle

Everyone just had too much fun over the holidays, I guess.

I believe the answer to your question #1 is yes - watch the YouTube at 0:49-0:52

It's been a quiet day at work too - very few emails

I was pretty sure it was yes, I just don't trust my eyes anymore. Thank you OMC (figures a coyote would be out here roaming around with the tumbleweeds...)

HI trink and coyote!
Sorry we did not get a hand shot today- we'll make sure to get one tomorrow.
To answer the question, no it is not a closed bottom..... there is a plate which closes the part that sitson your finger, which is different from a "cap" which closes the bottom of the stone.
i like the plate, as it actually helps both the color ( and reflects into the stone) and keeps it clean, because it shields it from body oils.
Unlike a cap,l the bottom of the stone is open to pick up light..

We did not yet stock this one, but we're considering it.
As the title indicates, 4.06 K/VS1

I keep repeating that very true old saying....
If you don't want to work a day in your life, do something you love!

Yes, this IS fun!

Fancy Brown Orange which looks quite pink in the photos- but it might be a bit dull- I don't object to I1 ( which it is) but dull is a total deal breaker for me.....

What are thinking exactly with a tri-color.  Like yellow around the FY EC, pink around the halo (pink diamonds too?) and then WG on the shank?

I admit for a while I was thinking of that for my Sunny.

The 4.06ct K/VS1 is still knocking at my door. *GROAN* I can just see it set in platinum and 18K between two HONKER FIY half-moons.  Evil

Or, FIY trills with bowed sides. (Notice that I called for FIY, not FVY, each time... I am not TOTALLY out of control).  angel

I'm not exactly sure. I'm torn between a FP halo, but with slightly larger stones like .2's and a white gold band with EF stones ooooooooooooorr

EF stone halo with a pink gold band.  Grin I like the pink lemonade idea

I don't know why but I love the idea of the E-F halo with a pink gold band.  I would love to see that done!
