I'm loving these new photos. They really show off the diamonds and while they will never be as gorgeous in a photo as they are in person, this comes as close as I think it can.

But these new photos show more depth which is what is so mesmerizing about diamonds.

That top one. Whew. I've got to go take a cold shower now.

And the hand shots.

GORGEOUS!

Who does the hand shots these days? She has pretty, elegant hands.

All our newer lisitings have the higher res photos.
We are "retro-fitting" older listings.

Hi Cory! Hope you're enjoying the new job!
When you have time, any chance you could try on the bigger asscher 5 stone for a handshot please? I'd love to see that.

Thanks

OH NO.  You wouldn't like that one, Mikla.  I'm SURE of that.  Cory, pay no attention to her. Just put the ring back.  In the box. In the safe. In the dark. Where no one can see it. Ever. Thank you.  Roll Eyes

As long as it's well cut, I wouldn't worry too much. If anything, on this one it seems to have avoided bow-tie effects around the middle.

I agree.  If it is well cut, and it certainly seems to be so, then, I'd see it as a plus for your pocketbook.  I might guess that this beauty found it's way to David partly because it's "numbers" aren't what most high-end vendors like to stock. Regardless, this is a beautiful stone. Actually, I'm quite amazed at how lovely the diamond appears, with no discernable bow-tie.  A feat for ANY pear shape, and certainly, I would think extraordinary for a shallow pear. I've always liked this one.

I love that pear ring too. It is beautifully cut. That's why you can't buy from a list. That 40% would scare you away. But in person it dazzles.

Hi All!
As WM said, buying by the numbers is impossible.
In fact, we really LOVE the cut of this stone- and they are very hard to find like this..
We're trying to find a "little sister" stone for a client who wants a smaller version of this one- with not a lot of luck...yet....

The thing that's amazing about lower depth stones- when they are that well cut- is that they sparkle like made, and look as much as half again bigger than the carat weight would suggest.....

Weight loss threads aside- a diamond looking like it weighs more than it does is a GREAT thing!

It's also true that many pear shapes with this kind of depth would look BUTT ugly.
It's a stone by stone thing.....

I think this ring is ALMOST as pretty as the (formerly Bronx) Blue  Cheesy.  The platinum mounting is awesome, and I love the half moons.  Of course, the sapphire is gorgeous, as well!!!

(Perhaps, since the Blue has relocated to Texas, she should become the Broncs Blue?? <LOL> )

OK...I'll be honest.  I cannot quite get used to the new pictures.   I used to go to the DBL site to see the fireshots.  These others look dead to me.  Maybe it shows the stones better...Maybe it will take some time.  The three stone cushion looks more yellow though in the new pictures.
