Hi!
I found a ring on the DBL site that is very near perfection to me.

http://rockdiamond.c...o-diamond-ring-r3736

I would love to know whether you have a handshot of this ring, as I have sort of large hands and donīt do dainty rings very well.

I would really appreciate it.
thanks a mill,

MIA

I loved this one too first time I saw it too. David will have pictures posted for you asap I'm sure. Can't wait to see them. I wish that they'd do hand shots of all of their rings. I think that would help sell even more rings. I know there have been times that I haven't been to crazy about a certain style and then I've seen it on and completely change MO.

In fact Clgwlis ring is a perf. example. I was never crazy about a bezel setting until I saw the hand shots of her ring. Totally changed my opinion on that style.

I have big hands, but this one looked INCREDIBLE on me!. I tried it on (a lot) when I was in the office and I loved it. In fact, it was on my hit list.  Grin  I'd be happy to see it go to a good home though.

I don't think I have a handshot unfortunately, but I'm sure David will get one for you when he has time - I know he's crazy busy right now.

Nice choice!

Boy Howdy, I know that fixation!  And as crazy as it seems, doing that exact thing helped me keep sane when I was trying to figure out just what to do with my Li'l Bloo. Since Bloo was never for sale at DBL, I saved off the pix that David had sent me.  If I could have, i would have rolled in them like a dog on an hourly basis.  Roll Eyes

Oh, and if you stay fixated on that particular stone, then you know it'll be right for you.  But do try Trinkette's imaginary jewellry box, too.  Using that technique is what made me determine the ultimate design for my new gizmos, that started out as a complete impulse buy of http://rockdiamond.c...es-unique-18kt-r3777.

We surely do have some very smart and creative folks around here.  Makes me proud to be associated with them via this forum.

Aha! It's a tool for helping you decide what you really want.  Wink

Ok - close your eyes. Now, either imagine your actual jewellery box if you have such a thing, or create a fictitious one and put all your jewels in it (mentally). Now, open it real fast, just for a moment. What did you see? Which addition did your heart so desire that it placed it in your virtual box?

THen, go through the options one by one. Place each option in the box and see how it looks - what goes well with your existing pieces, what would be worn a lot, what works with the overall picture?

Of course, this takes a fair bit of imagination, but once you get the hang of it, you can start to buy strategic pieces if you're working on a life time's collection, or get just exactly the right one-off item. (If you can't quite do this, try meditating first. If that doesn't work, lie down in the dark. If all else fails, we have a great return policy...)

OK- so, the deal is- we've been very shorthanded on office help. And very busy.
We used to have four people working here in the office. We have more people working for us all over the world.

But here in the office, lately our in office staff has consisted of either been one and a half, or on good days ( when my DW is here), two and a half people.

This week we're trying out a new person that will elevate us to having two, or three people.
Anyway, as opposed to a "gal Friday" which has been our norm, we are trying a "guy Friday"
And DW has not been in.
Long story short, no female hand models as of late- so I'll sub.

While I was at it, a new shot of the ring itself

Next to another ( brand new) ring and a credit card for for context

I didn't particularly like the 3-stone ring in the first photos, but these new ones are quite something else. Now I could actually want it...

D:  I thought your fingers were bigger than a 12.  I read that in a post I thought, probably the one that showed  your improvised wedding (ear)ring.

I like that heart.

I thought his size was around my husbands (which is either a 13 or a 14... we can't remember).

As an aside my husband's ring is bigger in diameter than my hoops that run just around an inch.

Hi Guys- the ring finger on my left hand is 14.5. I think my pinky is 11.5
We're making a new wedding ring for me now, "Uber" style- with this stone set E-W

The factory called me up to ask....size 14.5?? In American Ring size?

Thank you so much for taking the time to post pictures of the ring.  Theyīre phenomenal! And I totally understand being understaffed.

I see the ring is sized at 6 and a quarter so it was kind of funny it didnīt fit a pinky  Grin

Oh man... too bad I canīt spot the numbers on that credit card   Grin
Now I really have something to think about!!!

The yellow three stone really is an outstanding ring. It's giving a lot of coverage, and looks like so much MORE in every way. It's firmly on my list (did I mention that? Wink) but I'll be happy to see it go to a good CDI home. Lovely new photos.

David, looking forward to seeing the Uberband.
