Mexico City?  You're going to have a blast!  100x's better than the beach, in my mind at least (my skin and the sun don't really get along).

Really though - very interesting city, have you been there before?

I love the mix of modern and old buildings.

Teotihaucan?? I've not had the opportunity to visit there yet, though I've read alot about it (I'm an archaeologist..well, bioarchaeologist really, I don't specialize in Aztec or Mayan culture but still find it very interesting!). I've heard Tepoztlan is really cool as well and as far as I've been told, you can still climb to the top of the pyramid there (most parks don't allow this any longer).

Have a wonderful trip!!

If you didn't plan on going to Teotihuacan, I highly recommend it.

I climbed the the pyramid of the sun and the pyramid of the moon, and it was so worth the bit of sweat.

The pyramid of the moon, although not as tall, is a bit harder of a climb in my mind, but it's less crowed and a different experience...

I can't wait to hear about your trip!

Mindi, as far as I know you still can. I climbed Tepoztlan about 10 years ago & it was still open to hikers. Teotihuacan is more impressive in size, but both were interesting.
