Question . . . if you have a cast setting such as in the pictures below which is available in 14k white or yellow gold, can it also be made in other metals?  For example, could it be made with a platinum band and 18k yellow head?  Would this then become a custom job or would it still be less expensive than starting from scratch?

HI All!

Good question Mikla!

As long as the stone is of a "normal" shape and size, we can use the cast parts- which do save a lot compared to custom making the parts.
Given that the stone fits, we can order the parts can be ordered in any color gold, or platinum

So, for this particular casting which I happen to love, what are the largest proportions of a stone it will take?
