David~

Have you ever done bezel set princess or radiant (yellow) studs?  Is it not cost efficient to stock something like this?  All DBL's studs are prong set.  I think they'd be a neat idea!   Grin

You know -- a thin bezel -- not chunky -- with a "martini-ish" type of setting?

Here is David's picture of my hearts, fresh off the presses!  I love RBs in bezels too!   David does bezel set radiants, in pendants and they look beautiful.  I wonder about the corners on princesses, though.

Hi Everybody!

Yes- we do bezels for just about any shaped diamond.
I agree with GL that princess cuts are not the best in bezels as you've got those 90 degree corners....

Interesting. I was sitting at work today, bored in a meeting, and my mind turned to diamonds. Fancy that.

Specifically, I wondered about bezel set rb studs. I have a pair that would benefit from being upgraded and I wondered about a bezel too. I particularly love the way GL's heart shaped studs look. The bezel is thin and delicate - highlights the diamonds really nicely.

Oh, yes!  Bezel RB studs are a lust of mine, as well.  However, I have some special .55 ctw martini studs that my husband bought me while he was in Iraq.  So, I always wear them, b/c they're so sentimental to me.  If I bought other round studs, I'd feel guilty.  So, I'm thinking about getting some jackets to dress them up.

But, I know I wouldn't feel guilty of some bezel set yellow studs!   Grin  They'd be a *totally* different thing, right?

p.s.  I love those thin, heart shaped bezel studs.
