I LOVE having DBL as my source for some serious  4  glasses9

However, I'm finding myself wanting more diamond band options. I've seen so many diamond bands with so-so or worse diamond cuts and there is just NO sparkle. Considering David's AMAZING eye, I was wondering whether DBL will start offering more?

Soooo....  david     Can you guys offer more options in diamond bands? Maybe we can come to some sort of consensus on this board regarding what styles we would like to see.

I personally would like to see a dainty but sparkle charged half-eternity band... maybe prong set with milgrain?

I would be in for one in white and one in yellow with brownish yellows.  Maybe one with light brownish pinks after some serious saving.

Yes I like the way you think too! I noticed a lot of bands are on average 2.5-3mm, and that sometimes to me, seems a bit thick.  At least for my short stumpy fingers anyway:)

I would love to see some 2mm bands with a lot of sparkle.  When I clean my Rit band, it's sparkly, but it gets dirty so easily:( The 7 stone band I bought from DBL is fantabulous!!! but I can NO way wear a spacer between as my fingers can barely take the mm width as it is!

I'm 5'3", ave build, but I have the hands of a 10 year old (and I am not kidding), so I would loveeeeeeeeeeeeee for some THIN bands with bling!!!

Hi Everyone!
Wedding bands: One of the main problems with wedding bands is that if we carry "all the way around" bands, we need to either make each one to order, or carry a huge amount of rings to sell a few.

The 1/2 way around idea is far easier to accomplish-and in fact, we should probably explore more options in that area.
If we could put a request in to make that silly 24 hour day stretch to 36.....hehehehh

We're making a few circle of life necklaces with brownish pink diamonds set either in pink gold, or white gold as a little experiment.
I imagine that we'd want to offer pink as an option on these.....

I actually prefer half-way around rings, as that way you can resize them later if you need to!

I am in love with that yellow diamond band on the site. I would like some pink or pinkish browns. Like David said we're starting with the pink or pink/brown circle pendants. We're trying to make some that are not so astronomical in price but of course, still up to our high standards of gorgeousness.

I'd go w/ a half way too.  And AZ?  I'll keep my glasses9 on so I don't see scratches.   I'm trying to let the bottom of my rings get a ding here and there--like a car's 1st ding.. Get it over with:)

I've been doing quite a bit of research in to dainty diamond band rings (~1.5 - 2mm) lately but I'm still holding out for DBL to make one  pray sad5

One thing came up for me which is with the diamonds used in the rings. I have come across the terms "single cut" and "full cut."

 david

Can you tell us the difference between the two? Does "full cut" mean that they have all 50-something facets of a RB? Can they get all those facets in to diamonds of that size?

What cut (single/full/other) are usually used?

I'm looking for a dainty ring that sparkles like crazy  Grin

I kind of prefer the full eternity style, but I totally understand David's point about the restrictions of carrying every size of those or custom making them.

What about doing one mold of a 3/4 around with a sizing area just at the bottom?

Then you could size up or down (within reason) to each person request, but yet still have more diamonds visible and not quite so much of the spinning issue.

Wonderful idea!  I would love to see a diamond half-eternity band in all colors offered by DBL.  Half-eternity is my preference as my ring finger is a 4.

Half or 3/4 eternity sounds great to me too...I like the idea of sizing them, and not having to worry about diamonds smacking hard surfaces..

Finally!

A band that will work with the "Legacy" style halo ( our Hal1)

It's got a curve so it nestles against the halo ring....

We'll be offering these in different color metals- including a Pink Gold/Brownish Pink Diamond version.
The white diamond versons in 14karat white, yellow or pink metal will run $499.

Love it, and great price for the white gold - but will there be a version without a curve too?

Hi guys!

Here's a tutorial on Single cuts.

Single cuts do have charm, but they lack the firey brilliance of full cuts.

Thanks David!

Hopefully there will be a non-curved band for those of us who want to wear it alone. Also, what is the mm size on that band?

Oh very nice indeed!!! BRAVO!!!!!!

Now.. I wonder............. could you "stack" these up with eachother? Maybe one in each metal color just for fun. That might be kinda cool for those non-halo owners.  Grin
