Is it possible to have a 3 stone pear ring made to where the side stones stand up like the center stone( and from the side you could see that the side stones sat down and a hair in from the center), so that the ring would resemble a crown,? Could it be done on a single slim band or would it have to be two bands? I have wanted this ring for ages and if I can get my hands on it... Evil
What do the rest of you think about this design for an engagement ring? What specs would you like to see on this ring if it's even possible? pear pear pear

Yes- although we have not done one, a ring with 3 pear shapes lined up is totaly possible- one one band, or two.

It would be possible to pick the right stones, then build it!
Of course there's really no way to know exactly what it would look like.

That's the one point that makes this type of project a bit more....interesting.

To get us ( or any competant jeweler) to make a new design like that, it would be a special order.
So if the resultant ring did not match the picture in your head, it could mean thousands of dollars wasted......

Still, if the design you had in mind is simple, it might be a do-able project

Hi everyone and thanks for replying! I've been lurking around for a while and thought this forum just felt like a fun place! Anyway-I'm glad to have gotten some feedback on this I was told before that this was an undoable design because it would be unstable. I think that this would be so pretty in rose gold with some soft white diamonds...

Oh, that is a pretty pear!  It's so pretty with the rose gold and white diamond. 

The idea of a three stone pear sounds very unique!  Seems as if it would look like a crown!   icon_queen
